My commute.

So here it is, my commute to work. 'Work' is at the University of California, Santa Cruz where I am a postdoc. I bike commute everyday, well, every day that I'm at work (ha!). I don't bike commute because I'm a tree-huggin', biodiesel lovin', Green Party votin' neo-hippy, although I am most of those. I bike commute because the University charges BIG$$$ for parking permits. Coupled with fuel costs, I can save over $1K/year and apply that money towards a custom, hand-built bike frame from one of the several local builders (see frame builder links). Yadda, yadda, yadda...
